
Jerk Steak & Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 lb Angus Steak or Boneless Beef Tri tip cut into cubes
- 1 lb Large Shrimp Peeled & deveined
- 1 C Red & Green Bell Peppers
- 1 C Chicken Broth
- 2 tsp Get-R-Smoked Jamaican Jerk Seasoning - Purchase Here
- 2 tsp Get-R-Smoked Mike's SPG All purpose Seasoning - Purchase Here
- 1/8 tsp Honey
- 1 T Butter
- 1 T Olive Oil Marketplace EVOO - Purchase Here
- Get-R-Smoked Italian Herb Seasoning Blend - Purchase Here
- Jasmine or Yellow Rice
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over Med High heat. Add steak. Cook undisturbed for 3 mins. Gently flip in pan until browned on all sides, about 7-8 mins. Remove and set aside.
- Season shrimp with Jerk & 1 tsp of Mike's SPG Seasonings. Blend well. Color should begin to turn red.
- Add butter to pan then add shrimp. Cook for 1 min each side.
- Add honey. Cook an additional 1 min. Remove. Shrimp will finish cooking last step.
- In same pan add bell peppers. Cook for 3 minutes or until softened. Stir frequently to keep from burning. Add steak and shrimp back to pan. Toss to blend.
- Add broth and remaining 1tsp Mikes SPG Seasoning. Lower heat to Med Low and let simmer to enhance the flavor.
- Serve over rice. Sprinkle Italian Herb Seasoning Blend

Delicious and so easy to make
The taste is good, but when you add the broth it takes away all of the nice color and does not look like the picture at all. There is not a need for the broth. Next time I will not use the broth. The seasonings are great without the broth.
thank you for the feedback, the only concern I would have is without the broth it may not be as moist, be sure to let it simmer long enough to reduce some of the liquid… Thanks
