
Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 6 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Marketplace Toasted Sesame Seed Oil - Purchase Here
- 1 tablespoon Chili sauce - Purchase Here
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Marketplace Garlic EVOO - Purchase Here
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- ½ pound asparagus trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup snow peas
- 2 pounds large raw tail-on shrimp peeled and deveined
Instructions
- To make the sauce combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet set over medium-high heat. Add the bell pepper, asparagus and snow peas. Sauté, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes. Add the shrimp and sauté until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the sauce to the shrimp and veggies in the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Serve over rice, sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy!
