
Chile Lime Street Tacos
Ingredients
For the tacos:
- 1 pound flank or skirt steak (Any variety – fish, chicken, steak, or pork)
- 12 corn tortillas
For the marinade:
- 4 limes juiced
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil Marketplace Roasted Chili Lime EVOO - Purchase Here
- 5-6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 jalapeno finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl and mix well.
- Put steak and marinade in a ziploc bag and let steak marinate overnight.
- Remove steak from marinade. Grill steak to desired doneness. Remove from grill and let steak rest a bit, then slice against grain into thin strips.
- Fill warmed corn tortillas (use two per taco) with steak and top with any or all of: chopped cilantro, diced onions, lime wedges, avocado slices, Pico de gallo then finish with a drizzle of Roasted Chili Lime Olive Oil.
